International Student Housing
Like most U.S. community colleges, Contra Costa College, Diablo Valley College, and Los Medanos College do not have on-campus housing. Our colleges do not provide nor are responsible for any off-campus housing services. However, there are many off-campus housing options for international students near each college. These include unfurnished and furnished apartments, rooms for rent, and living with a family (homestay).
For Students at Any of Our Colleges
- Live with an American family
- Two-month contract, then month-to-month
- Placement fee (application): $450
- Monthly cost: $1,300
- This includes a private bedroom, Internet, laundry, electricity, water, two meals (Mondays – Fridays), and three meals on Saturdays and Sundays
